The program will rip the tracks off the CD or record them while they are being played. The program can also record songs and sounds from other audio sources that your sound card supports, such as a cassette tape player, a phonograph, or a microphone. You can record using high quality ("CD quality") settings, or save space on your hard drive by using lower quality audio recording parameters. Then play the recorded songs back at any time using any MP3 or WAV player, such as the Windows MediaPlayer. And you can even convert WAV files to MP3!
